Bob Merlis runs MFH (Merlis For Hire) a publicity firm specializing in music projects. Current and past clients he’s repped include John Mellencamp, Etta James, ZZ Top, JD Souther, Experience Hendrix, ABKCO Records, Dion, John Fogerty, Percy Sledge, Neil Young, The Rubinoos, Delbert McClinton and others. He’s also an automotive journalist and regular contributor to Automobile Magazine. This past summer he hosted a hot dog-only fundraiser for the Obama campaign dubbed “Weenie Roast For Change” and has been active in support of Al Franken’s campaign for US Senate.
