Being her parents means you need to give her a curfew and stop her -- an underage girl -- from going to bars for 21 year-olds and up, and partying till all hours of the morning, like she did this past Thursday night, Sept.30, at Hollywood celeb hotspot, Voyeur.
Do the words -- Lindsay Lohan -- mean anything to you? Do you want your daughter to end up in jail and rehab with her career in the ruins?

Relatives of yours, who prefer to remain name-less, are already worried that Miley will become a trainwreak. "No one tells Miley no," the source told HollywoodLife.com. "We're concerned for her. She's 17-years-old, but is the one who makes the money ($25 million in 2009) and she calls all the shots in the family," the relative explained.

Now wonder they're concerned --Miley behaves like she's a woman in her 20's, not an underage teen. Aside from the partying at clubs and bars in LA, Paris and Detroit, in the past month or so -- she already has a long history of walking around flashing her bra and putting on PDA-filled live shows, including simulating a girl-on-girl kiss.

Would YOU want your 17-year-old -- a junior in high school -- to behave like this?

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus shouldn't want their daughter to be growing up and out of their control, either?

Billy Ray and Tish -- you're "making a tremendous mistake. Everyone needs boundaries, whether they are young or old. Young people need boundaries to set themselves up for the future -- what's ok and not ok," points out relationship expert and author of Don't Bet On The Prince Dr. Gilda Carle. "She thinks she can do anything because she is Miley Cyrus but no one can get away with anything. It caught up with Britney and Lindsay and it will catch up with her."

Here's what the Cyrus family need to do!

She's just another carny, who cares? Let her live it up until she crashes. It's not like she'll be the first to follow this path.

I think Bill Ray and Tish feel held hostage by Miley. Miley is a multi-millionaire. As soon as parents start to exert some power, Miley is outta there. She already has her own house. She can legally emancipate herself. Remember the Twilight Zone movie when the kid with the magic powers held his family hostage. They did whatever he wanted.

Also, "Can't be Tamed" isn't such a great song, but "Party in the USA" is more representative of who she really is, and it's a much better song.

It is a much better song, but it is in now way representative of who she is, and she's even said so. She didn't write it or even choose it. She's said she doesn't even like pop music.

I think she's doing great. She can definitely learn to avoid the excesses of fame from Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. She seems grounded and she seems to know how to be famous without much stress. She just ought to avoid the late nights and the decadent club crowd.
04:19 PM on 10/06/2010
I think Lindsay and Britney's problems actually stemmed from their parents rather than their careers. This is especially true of Lindsay who had to contend with a alcoholic, violent father who spent a good portion of her childhood in and out of prison, and an opportunistic stage mother.

I'm so glad I have a son. Girls these days are ridiculous.
03:40 PM on 10/06/2010
Billy ray is someone' s son, so are plenty of deadbeat dads, and you are a woman, I am proud to have strong daughters, and this is not a sexist issue, The club owners, probably male allowed her into the club, a real parent would prosecute the club. Instead of blaming the female race. Was Elvis a woman, or keith Richards or the countelss other dug addicts, no. I'm proud you have a son, but for God's sake lady, you are so out of the loop on this. If we offered the same treatments and punishments for the crimes, aside from wealth, this wouldn't be a problem... Or do you believe OJ Simpson was an innocent little bot, too?

Hmm: the hormones of puberty + several years of easy and overnight success + denial of a standard-issue childhood + less than two months to go before becoming a legal adult + being the sole breadwinner of the family = what would make you legitimately believe she was going to remain eight years old forever?

Sheeee-it! If ya'll think ol' Billy Ray is gonna do ennything to rein in Miley, ya'll got another thing comin'!
Now she's duhveloped into a wo-man, her lil' ol' girl fans are gonna move on to Ke$ha and Katy Perry, and if she don't start out-skankin' them real quick-like, well, ol' Billy Ray's gonna be sangin' Achey Breaky Heart at the county fair again.

Oh who cares anymore. This si the trend, the tidal wave of gutter level, "reality" show mindset that the Powers-The-Be encourage the masses to act like, that whole arrested developed, sex, gaming, getting drunk, etc that help them distract us from what they're doing to us and our world.

All in the name of wealth and power.

Unless there's a serious sea change by the Big Wigs worldwide in dispensing with the whole grasping for wealth and power nothing will change and we're going down into the sewer of history.

Sure, it's illegal, at least in the States, for her to be going into bars and drinking at 17. But obviously the bar management, the tenders etc, don't care. And apparently law enforcement, state liquor boards, prosecutors, etc don't care either. Why? Guess it comes down to one thing.

She Miley Cyrus, special, privileged person above we little people and the laws we must abide by. Just like Lohan, Hilton, etc.

Powers-THAT-Be.

She may have to be 21 to drink at a nightclub, but I assure you as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, on this kid's 18th birthday she signs the contract for the Playboy photo shoot.
There is no doubt she is desperate to take her clothes off to show her "womanly" all growed up body to the world.

I think it was the comedian Chris Rock who said a father's only job is to keep his daughter off the stripper pole.

I think Billy Ray will fail on that one responsibility, too.

I have a hard time taking Bonnie Fuller seriously, particularly after her column a few weeks back extolling Kim "I'm Famous for My Sex Tape" Kardashian's virtues as a role model for today's young women.

I agree this person is all over the place with her opinions, but on this one she's barking up the right tree, but it's to late to bark, Miley is already out of control and Billy Ray might as well sit back and watch his baby girl, go down the wrong road.

I've never taken Bonnie Fuller seriously.  Just in the past two months or so she told us to stop bashing Kate Gosselin on the grounds of her nonexistent parenting, then flipflopped and started bashing Kate Gosselin on the grounds of her nonexistent parenting.

Well, I have enough on my plate trying to parent my own child. I will leave Billy Ray and his wife to parent Miley. Some of the things she is doing may be a little questionable, but nothing too inappropriate yet. She is just finding her way.
11:29 AM on 10/06/2010
I'm glad I've finished raising my two. Good people. But it was hard work as a single parent with no real support from their mother. But, we do what we can.

And, I don't know how I did it, outside of teaching them those old fashioned boring things like respect for others, hard work, priorities, the difference between the last thirty years of ever increasing arrested development, etc, but they turned out very well. Not perfect, but damn good folks who treat others as they wish to be treated in kind.

How'd I do that with all that so-last-century "garbage"? What'd I do wrong that my kids aren't like Miley, Snooki, Lohan, Hilton, that odious "Spiedi" duo, etc?
