Oh No! Now Hollywood Lips Explode in Size

Just take a look at the freshly volumized pouts of Megan Fox and Liz Hurley, both stars not even known for thin lips. Megan had a pair of Hollywood's most sexy and envied natural lips until she was photographed on April 17th with a new enormous upper lip that is so large she's now lost her signature bow shape.

When Liz Hurley first gained fame on the arm of boyfriend Hugh Grant, she was eye arrestingly pretty with lips that were slightly on the thin side. Now, in new photos from April 27th, both her upper and lower lips are freshly engorged!

Other recent infamous victims of superlarge lip engorgement -- Nicole Kidman, Christina Aguilera, Meg Ryan, Melanie Griffith, Priscilla Presley and Lisa Rinna, who have given up their naturally attractive kissers, in exchange for lips that are seen in nature only on underwater species.

I spoke to top plastic surgeons who agreed that the Hollywood lip inflation frenzy is nowhere near over.

"The majority of Hollywood actresses have had augmentations to their lips," says Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Richard Fleming.

I was watching a show on the food network where chefs go to private homes and cook--many of the women look like Howard the Duck--super stretched skin and large lips on a big head with small bodies...no beauty, just obsession...

It's not only women. The botox eyebrows are really freaky looking too - Chris Noth is a great example of someone who looked a lot better all natural, and now has this funny, perpetually "hooked" expression.

Egads! Most of those women looked like they were punched in the mouth! Ladies...if you have thin lips, just do your best to rock them.

Other commenters have suggested that the trend towards big fat lips is related to a trend towards looking less "white." I find the thought intriguing. I'm starting to think that the standard of beauty may be trending away from white, blonde, and skinny. Barbie may still be the standard...but not for long. Off of the top of my head...I am going to say that the women currently celebrated for their beauty and sex appeal are at least brunette (with a few exceptions). However, many, many of these women are also Latina or Black. Examples:

Penelope Cruz
Halle Berry

I saw an Australian movie the other day. It was hot and sexy, and I couldn't figure out why it seemed so much sexier than the typical American Movie with the typical perfect looking American Actors. I finally figured it out. The people in the Australian movie looked real, how can you be attracted to somebody who looks like a maniquin, and that goes for male actors as well. In the Aussie movie, sure they had little freckles on their shoulders, a smile line etc.. but they just looked like the good looking people you would see on a night out. Megan Fox or one of the many feminized hollywood men just seem like something that you would find clothes hanging on in a dept. store.

When producers stop hiring these "fembots" for their movies, television shows, etc., the madness will die down. (Supposedly that trend is beginning in small steps.) In the meantime, exposing these people and letting them see the opinion the public has of them is the only option to try to get through to them.

(Heidi Montag supposedly wants another breast enhancement and she already makes Barbie dolls look flat-chested. Someone needs to get her mental health care treatment.)

They look ridiculous! I have started watching only independent movies with no famous plastic actors because I can't watch movies with people like Kidman,etc who have their lips blown up. Don't these actresses realize they don't look natural anymore? It reminds me of those red wax lips that as kids we use to wear on Halloween so, I can't concentrate (on any movie) if it's obvious (and it is obvious ladies) they have blown up their lips because I start laughing.

It is funny, the more we become promoters of organic food, driving hybrids, using natural products,etc. the Hollywood set injects more plastic or whatever into their bodies so they can look more like mannequins than real humans.

It's funny that no one who has responded to this post has stated the obvious. The fint of skin thin lipped people want to look more like their darker hued sistahs and brothas. Why else would these people spend billions of dollars to tan themselves, plump up their lips, whiten their teeth, insert strange and dangerous things into their bodies to build up butts and boobs? I thought the before was supposed to be the standard of beauty?

LOL! Well, during the Black pride movement in the 70s, women especially rebelled against the practice of frying their curly hair into whiteness. IMO...afros, braids, and dreadlocks are much more attractive than the flattened, oiled look that many black women tend to think is attractive (no offense Michelle Obama...you know you're beautiful...but if you had some bangin' dreads...WATCH OUT!)

Perhaps I need to start a "white is beautiful" movement among my emaciated, sallow sisters?
