Does it make sense to close all of the coal plants wihen we have the ability to capture 100% of the emissions and have a zero carbon emissions with 3 renewable energy sources?

Does it make sense to close these plants and place 1.5 millon people out of work? That includes the coal mining business too and the equipment folks associated with them....

Could we capture that CO2 and produce millions of gallons of methanol and oxygen, while producing more electricity for the grid and if we did, wouldn't that produce millions of dollars in revenue for local state and federal governments?

MP Biomass can and is doing so... with an international patent, and technology that has been out since 2003 and sitll exists. Our website is: www.mpbiomass.com please visit us.
