Although he has trained and worked as an engineer in Canada, Brendan Baker seems to have gotten more kicks working with Engineers Without Borders, as a volunteer in Senegal and within Canada, including work on the Board of Directors. In Senegal, he helped kick off a potable water project and develop agro-processing equipment for use in rural villages. Brendan also displays several unusual skills, including the inability to surf after 8 years of trying, half-decent beatboxing, and a soft spot for crazy ideas that can make a difference.
