Fox News Should Ban Giuliani From Debates, and Include Ron Paul

By any standards of participation in debates, Fox News should take Rudy Giuliani out, and put Ron Paul in.

There are two obvious standards for inclusion versus exclusion in debate, first the number of real voters in a real state vote, and second the amount of real money donated by real people to the campaigns.

In Iowa, the only real state that has voted so far, Ron Paul kicked Rudy's butt in the voting. In campaign fundraising, Ron Paul appears set to kick Rudy's butt again.

In my view, Rudy, Ron Paul and Kucinich should all be included. But if Fox News insists on playing the censor of democracy, Paul should be in, Rudy should be out.

Otherwise, Fox should be forced to declare the expense of their debates to the FEC as campaign contributions.

If Giuliani ever does better in a primary or caucus than he did in Iowa, he could then be brought back into the debates.

Fair enough?

Pretty funny column (particularly since Fox News is run by the guy who was Giuliani's media consultant when he first ran for mayor).

It will be enjoyable to watch Paul thrash Giuliani in state after state this month.

But it's Fox News...what do you expect, really?

It's very simple. Fox News is trying to silence Dr. Ron Paul. They are a pro-war network and he is an anti-war conservative congressman. They are afraid for his message to get out. They are afraid that people will begin to listen to him. And the power will begin to slip from their greedy hands...

Let's send Fox News a wake up call and support Dr. Ron Paul!

Ron Paul also did the best at the ABC debates - made it more interesting and was the most dignified. The others were sniping at one another and not saying much substantive. Dr. Paul had the only real solutions to protect the nation and for freedom and liberty. The other candidates are all big government, world government people. They bicker, but they're really all alike - they want less freedom for the individual and more government intervention - at a national and global scale - more socialism. I think Ron Paul could have national appeal if people would start doing a little reading about what the Federal government is supposed to be. Not supposed to be a nanny state. Not supposed to spend all our money spreading goodness around the world through the barrel of a gun. Defend the borders, defend individual freedom and liberty, protect the currency, protect property rights. But you have millions of old folks that get all their news from TV and newspapers, media that don't talk about Dr Paul. The young have to start talking him up to their parents and grandparents. It's being done now but the battle is just beginning. And one that is just as important as 1776. But now it is the battle against nanny state, socialism and One World Government. In exchange for buying into Big Brother the people get bread and circuses - feeding at the trough of government slough and getting to read the latest movie star escapades.

You know why they don't want Ron Paul in the debate? Because he exposes the others for the idiot warmongers that they are. Ron Paul kicked their arses at the ABC debate- I don't think Fox can control that! They make themselves look bad, although they had already lost all credibility.

Ron Paul is the only candidate(GOP and Democrats) talking about spying, habeas corpus, torture, the patriot act. What's wrong with Americans? Are your civil liberties so insignificant?
