In Random Recast, I find new ways to upgrade the ordinary things in our lives. And this week, it's all about coffee filters.

To get from coffee filters to this bouquet requires a little bit of imagination. Luckily, a genius crafter did the hard work for us. You might know her. The name rhymes with "Startha Mewart." AKA, Martha Stewart. Of course she can turn coffee filters into roses.

For this project, you'll need to start out with cone-style coffee filters. They tend to be made of stiffer paper, which holds up better for this project. That said, it's not like you can't use regular old coffee filters...you'll just have to be OK with a not-so-perfect, softer result. You'll then tint the filters with watercolor paint to get a gorgeous hue.

Catch up with last week's Random Recast, which covered a few unique ideas for pumpkins.
