Photo Challenge: Where Does Your Inspiration Come From?

According to Dictionary.com, to doodle means "to waste (time) in aimless or foolish activity" or "to draw or scribble idly." But, I disagree.

While doodling may take time away from our work in other parts of life, it is necessary to our creativity and enjoyment of work. Doodling enriches our lives.

Some of my best ideas have come from moments when I allowed myself to become distracted, when I allowed my mind to wander off the beaten path.

Last July, President Obama even admitted in an interview with ABC7's Scott Thuman that he doodles too. It helps clear the mind and allows room for new questions and solutions to grow.
