Bronston Jones
Bronston Jones is a Los Angeles-based, nationally touring, stand-up comedian. Bronston is also founder and resident host for Venice Underground Comedy, one of LA's most popular shows that takes place each week in a historic speakeasy basement under Venice Beach. Before stand-up, Bronston leased his soul to advertising, primarily producing and directing commercials for products he'd never buy. Let's say, the lessees returned that soul with a lot of dents that he's trying to hammer out now. So he loves being back at the mic, saying something without selling anything. This is his first Edinburgh Fringe.

I am garbage.

More accurately, my fliers have become litter. But it feels the same.

My most depressing moment at the Fringe was the first time I realized the imploring eyes staring at me from the shriveled flier on the rain soaked sidewalk were, in fact, mine. That's my...

One week and no tears yet! Not even close! Sure, there are two weeks to go, so I shouldn't get cocky... but I'm totally not going to cry. How could I? The Fringe is the most amazing event I have ever been a part of in my life. I love...

Fringe Fest: Day 1 & 2

I'm here! I'm a day in. And I haven't cried yet... Emphasis on yet.

It's hard to believe this festival is in a little city in Scotland, because it's big. Well, big doesn't do this thing justice -- The Fringe is bigger than big. It's huge, massive, enormous, or...

Fringe Fest: T-minus One Day!

(0) Comments | Posted August 2, 2012 | 2:36 PM

This is my first Edinburgh Fringe. But in true Bron fashion, I'm jumping in with both feet, as in two shows! Afternoons, I co-host the LOLympics Live with the Aussie, Marcus Ryan. In case the name isn't self-explanatory, it's funny competitions with international professional Laughletes (that's the dumbest pun I've...
