Brooke has acted in many feature films including Mira Nair’s THE NAMESAKE, Woody Allen’s MELINDA AND MELINDA, Curtis Hanson’s IN HER SHOES, Daniel Minahan’s SERIES 7, Louis Malle’s VANYA ON 42ND STREET, Katja Von Garnier’s IRON JAWED ANGELS, Joel Schumacher’s BAD COMPANY, Robert Altman’s KANSAS CITY, Jonathan Demme’s THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS Henry Jaglom’s LAST SUMMER IN THE HAMPTONS, Sydney Pollack’s RANDOM HEARTS, Warren Leight’s THE NIGHT WE NEVER MET, Anthony Minghella’s MR WONDERFUL, and Alan Rudolph’s THE MODERNS.

Brooke will be seen in three films coming out this year: Doug Liman’s FAIR GAME, Michael Weithorn’s A LITTLE HELP, and Marianna Hellmund’s THE ASPERN PAPERS, based on the Henry James novella and filmed on location in Venezuela.

On television, Brooke played Dr. Erica Hahn on GREY’S ANATOMY. She has also appeared on CRIMINAL MINDS, WEEDS, CROSSING JORDAN, SIX FEET UNDER, LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, Sidney Lumet’s 100 CENTRE STREET, David Milch’s BIG APPLE, HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET, THE LARRY SANDERS SHOW, LAW AND ORDER, and TNT’s miniseries A CENTURY OF WOMEN.

Brooke’s theater work includes, among others, SOME GIRLS by Neil LaBute (at MCC), STOP KISS at The Public Theater, and Andre Gregory’s production of UNCLE VANYA at The Victory Theater (the basis for Louis Malle’s subsequent screen adaptation). She has been rehearsing Ibsen’s Master Builder with Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory for the past 11 years. Brooke co-starred in the Coen Brothers’ radio play for the THEATER OF THE NEW EAR production in NYC and London.

She wrote, produced, and directed the short film SHEEPS MEADOW. Brooke has also directed two documentary films - HONKY; Portrait of a Bluesman, and a film about Painted Hunting Dog Conservation in Zimbabwe.

Her other interests include journalism (she has published interviews with actors Steve Buscemi, Ed Harris, and Fred Ward), and travel (she has traveled extensively, especially to Africa).

The MAC/PC Conflict minerals ad is the third PSA Brooke has directed for The Enough Project’s Raise Hope for Congo campaign.
