Bruce Eric Kaplan is a wonderful fellow who draws cartoons and writes for television.

In television he was a Creative Consulant on Seinfeld and Executive Producer on Six Feet Under.

As a cartoonist, his work has appeared in The New Yorker magazine for 20 years. Three collections of his cartoons have been published.

They are called, No One You Know, This is a Bad Time, and I Love You, I Hate You, I'm Hungry.

He has also written several picture books for adults. The latest, Everything is Going to be Okay, was released May 1, 2011.

In 2010, Simon and Schuster published his first book for children, Monsters Eat Whiny Children.

Bruce Eric Kaplan is currently Co-Executive Producing and writing GIRLS, a new HBO series created by Lena Dunham, executive produced by Jenni Konner and Judd Apatow.
