For all the media chatter about the unprecedented power of the nation's elite army of superdelegates, we have to wonder: Who are these people? Considering that this select group of political operatives allegedly holds the key to the 2008 Democratic race for the presidency, you'd figure we should at least have a sketchy idea of what makes these folks tick? Anatomically speaking, of course.
After extensive investigation (and in close consultation with renegade illustrator Tim Foley), we've come up with the definitive portrait of this all-important faction of the body politic--from head to toe.

I found the "KNEES" comment the funniest of the lot.
How about an article highlighting the irony of a candidate saying that the superdelegates shouldn't short-circuit the nomination process by committing their support before all the primaries and caucuses have ended -- when the same candidate had as many as 165 superdelegates committed before the first vote was cast.

Wicked! I hope they can manage to pick a winner this time. Thanks for a smile.
