She is a 2008/2012 member of the Democratic National Committee; one of eight global members representing Democrats Abroad, the US Democrats who live around the world.

She is a proud member of the DNC Women's Caucus Board, elected in September in Austin, Texas, and hopes now that we have passed healthcare reform, to help enact vibrant energy reform, as well as promote even more formidable women for elected office.

PS Her CEDAW Resolution was unanimously accepted by the DNC in September (see March How About a Fair Deal? HuffPo piece). Next stop? The Senate, we hope.
