Plasticine: An Upbeat Song for Downbeat Times

I was recently asked to contribute a song for a movie trailer, they wanted something that exemplified the human struggle, working against the machine but resolving in triumph, whilst remaining lyrically vague? You have to take every opportunity that comes your way, but this really stumped me. I consider myself to be the Anti-Jack Johnson, we both do catchy, but I am more "Shit that bus is about to crash into that wall and I cant believe no-one is watching" than "Hey its a sunny day and its gonna be alright". I mean, where to find something positive in the midst of the turmoil that is 2009? Well, I smoked some pot, took a long walk in the woods and came up with "Plasticine" a somewhat self-deprecating, feel-good song for our Summer of Discontent!

Alas no. I can multi-task, but not at the same time. I will be in my little studio for hours, slam up against a wall and its off out into the woods with the woofs. A little spin on the Volcano to help with the journey, and an hour later I have most things sorted in my head. Unless of course, its raining.

What I want to know is if you can Tweet and compose lyrics at the same time? How about walking in the woods and writing lyrics? For me, pot (I love it) and multitasking don't mix and that's not such a bad thing!
