The seventh major release of the Android family is on its way. Android N is available for those who have a spare Nexus handset to install the update and demo some of its new features. The N features include opening two apps on the screen at the same time, the ability to resize windows and third-party applications, bundled notifications, direct reply options, custom views and more. There is a lot more where that came from according to Google but you'll have to wait a little bit longer.

New versions of Android operating systems are normally announced at the Google I/O conference, its annual developer conference. But, being Google they decided to surprise us and get the hype up now, previewing certain features and also let developers get accustomed to the updates so new apps will be able to roll out simultaneously.

I collected predictions from Sage on what the N for the Android N could stand for. What do you think it will stand for?
