All-International Player of the Year

Melvin Ejim, F, Iowa State, Sr. 6-6 (Canada)

Ejim came into his own this year on the offensive end as he has helped Iowa State reach the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament. Always a prolific rebounder. Ejim has nearly doubled his scoring average this season (11.3 ppg to 18.1 ppg) and has developed into a decent three-point shooter (34.4 percent). He scored more than 20 points in 13 games, including a career best 48-point, 18-rebound effort against TCU when he connected on 20-of-24 shots from the field. Ejim averaged 8.4 rebounds per game with his high in the TCU game and he grabbed 10 or more rebounds in 11 games.
