Drexel's Damion Lee has been perhaps the most underrated player in the country this season and had two standout performances in wins over Northeastern and UNC-Wilmington. The Baltimore, Maryland native has been named NetScouts Basketball's National Player of the Week for games from January 26th to February 1st.

The 6-foot-6 junior guard opened the week with 33 points, four rebounds, and three assists while shooting 9-of-16 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range in a win over Northeastern. Lee then contributed 32 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists in an 85-76 victory over UNC-Wilmington. He shot an even more impressive 10-of-14 from the field and 2-of-4 from behind the arc. On the week, Lee averaged 32.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game while shooting 63.3 percent (19-of-30) from the floor, 55.6 percent (5-of-9) from deep, and 95.7 percent (22-of-23) from the free-throw line.

It was another great week for Lee's resume, as he's now scoring 21.7 points per game this season for Drexel. His 44.7 percent field goal percentage and 40.1 percent three-point mark are outstanding numbers for a guard while he's also adding 6.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest. The Dragons are just 7-14 this season, but Lee has been a bright spot.

Another junior, Aly Ahmed, led his team to a pair of victories, as his Cal State Bakersfield squad defeated San Diego Christian and Seattle. He's been named NetScouts Basketball's International Player of the Week for games from January 26th to February 1st after two consistent showings.

The Alexandria, Egypt native started with 21 points in just 26 minutes as the Roadrunners handled San Diego Christian, 79-54. Ahmed then added another 21 points and 12 rebounds in Cal State Bakersfield's overtime win against Seattle. He had six points in overtime and shot 11-of-14 from the free throw line, including some clutch shots to seal it. The 6-foot-9 center averaged 21.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game on the week while shooting 50 percent (12-of-24) from the field and 81.8 percent (18-of-22) from the charity stripe.

Ahmed has helped a struggling Cal State Bakersfield team catch fire as of late. After missing two games with an ankle injury, Ahmed has returned by averaging 15.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per contest as the Roadrunners are 4-2 since his return. They'll need his continued success to extend their three-game winning streak.
