San Francisco, CA -- Let's start the weekend with a batch of good news:
Al Gore has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by a conservative member of the Norwegian parliament, for his work on global warming.
Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell has announced a plan to save Pennsylvania consumers $10 billion over ten years by improving energy efficiency and renewable energy supplies.
And in Boulder, Colorado, the Indian Peaks Group of the Sierra Club launched, along with their partner ConservED, a project called the "100th Human Initiative." The Initiative will track 100 local families for a year as they measure and reduce their daily CO2 footprint and impact, with a goal of a 25% reduction per person within those 12 months.
