Carlos Cagin grew up in Telluride, Colorado, and has written for the local newspaper there, Watch Newspapers, covering a wide range of beats and topics from the local softball league to politics. Most recently he wrote an article covering President Obama’s town hall meeting in Grand Junction on healthcare. Currently, he is studying at New York University in Gallatin, the school of individualized study. His concentration is in new media and human rights in the postcolonial world.
