Reverend Dr. Carlton W. Veazey is President and CEO of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC), the nation’s most influential interfaith coalition supporting reproductive choice on religious grounds. RCRC’s Insure Women, Ensure Our Future campaign advocates for coverage of abortion on state insurance exchanges being set up as part of the health care law. RCRC members include the Episcopal Church, United Church of Christ, the General Board of Church and Society of the United Methodist Church, the Women’s Division of the United Methodist Church, Presbyterian Church USA, Unitarian Universalist Association, the Reform, Conservative and Reconstructionist movements of Judaism, Catholics for Choice, and numerous religiously affiliated organizations.
