Civil War: The Ultimate Oxymoron.

Have we really come all that far since the Middle Ages, let alone since the beginning of times? We are still a barbaric people with fancier killing machines, yet we like to think of ourselves as "civil." We are a people of contradictions and hypocrisy, monkeys walking upright in pants, and if not shooting each other with firearms, then shooting those that are with our cell phones in the name of YouTube.

Children are killing children - at home and around the world - in the name of religion, for the smallest of differences, politics, and in the name of stupid pride. Uganda, Congo, Sudan, Iraq, Virginia and now Houston... it's war all the time and it's killing me.

"Until the philosophy which holds one race superior
And another
Is finally
And permanently
And abandoned -
Everywhere is war..."
