Carol Pier is the senior labor rights and trade researcher for Human Rights Watch, where she conducts fact-finding missions to document labor rights violations, reports on those findings, and engages in advocacy on workers’ rights and trade issues in the United States and abroad. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of Notre Dame.
