An publishing industry veteran, Carole Baron has acquired, edited and/or published many best-selling authors, including Maeve Binchy, Judy Blume, Tracy Chevalier, Harlen Coben, Nicholas Evans, Al Franken, John Grisham, Thomas Harris, John Lescroart, Elmore Leonard, Robert B. Parker, Amy Tan, and Danielle Steel. Ms. Baron loves to work with new writers such as Carolina De Robertis (THE INVISIBLE MOUNTAIN) and Poppy Adams (THE SISTER).

Before becoming an editor at Knopf, she was Publishing Director of Bookspan; President and Publisher of Putnam and Dutton; President and Publisher of Dell/Delacorte, and held various positions at Holt, Dutton, Pocket Books and Crown.
