Caroline Murphy lives in New York City and works as a singer-songwriter/playwright specializing in writing the book and lyrics for musicals. She studied playwriting and comparative religion at Hampshire College, received her Master’s Degree from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU, and was the recipient of the ASCAP Max Dreyfus scholarship for musical composition. Her work in theater has been featured in American Theatre Magazine and produced in New York, Philadelphia and Colorado. She is currently working on a new musical, bomb, which will be done in concert at Cap21 in New York City this November, as well as her first studio EP.
