Carolyn Strauss, the president of HBO Entertainment, is responsible for overseeing the development and production of miniseries, series, specials and late-night fare. In her career at HBO, she has supervised the development and production of HBO's acclaimed and award-winning series programming, including "The Sopranos," "Sex and the City," "Six Feet Under," "The Wire," "Carnivale," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "The Chris Rock Show," "Oz," "The Larry Sanders Show," "Arli$$," "Tracey Takes On," and in late night "Dennis Miller Live," "Def Comedy Jam," "Def Poetry," "Ali G," "The Kids in the Hall" and "Mr. Show." Strauss' former title was executive vice president, original programming. She joined HBO in 1986.
