Carolyn Wise

Carolyn Wise is the communications director for The Capital Hearings, a 12-voice a cappella ensemble based in Washington, D.C. Carolyn also serves on the board of the Choral Arts Young Patrons, which works to develop greater appreciation for classical choral music among younger audiences. She has been singing since before she could speak (her mom has the tapes to prove it). She currently sings with several professional ensembles in Washington, including the choirs of the Basilica of the National Shrine and the National Cathedral. She has performed in Carnegie Hall, been a featured soloist at the Kennedy Center, and sung for Pope Francis at the Vatican in Rome. She’s also a huge fan of jazz, and can sometimes be found crooning in a lounge with an open mic. When she isn’t singing, baking, or volunteering with local Veterans’ organizations, you can find her helping her clients buy and sell homes as a real estate agent with Keller Williams Capital Properties.
