Charles Butler is a conservative talk show host based in Chicago, IL. His favorite quote is "Liberalism seems to be related to a person’s distance from the problem. - Whitney Young. He coined the phase “Urban Terrorist are killing our Black Youth” about the carnage in Chicago’s Black community.

He is addressing political, educational, economic issues that affect all Americans and specifically Black Americans from a conservative perspective in the mode of Booker T. Washington and Frederick Douglas. Mr. Butler provides his audience with clear and concise information about current and historical events based on extensive research and political experience. His analysis is hard hitting, straight forward, no nonsense, factual, and he says he does not tolerate “voodoo intellect” from liberals. He is considered fair and balanced in his assessment of topics and details. He has a group that calls themselves “Charles’s converts.:

Over the last two years he has developed a diverse audience that have longed for a Black conservative voice. His pragmatic approach to social-economic and political issues that face America have made him a favorite personality in the market and round the country by way of internet streaming. Some of his friends and guests include Congressman J.C. Watts, Jr., Chairman of the RNC Michael Steele, and many other prominent politicians from both parties on the local, state and federal level of government. He has leading experts on his show to discuss current events from national think tanks like the Heritage, CATO and AEI to government officials.

Mr. Butler’s affect is being felt by the Black community and the City of Chicago, he is often called on the address economic, educational, political issues by leaders in the city. He is assisting in the battle to bring a Wal-Mart to an economically deprived ward. He is involved in the Carry Concealed Weapon effort by the Illinois State Rifle Association, to name a few. Rev. Al Sharpton and Warren Ballentine quote him on their shows.

His party affiliations include being a member of the National Republican Committee and with other conservative organizations. He has been a political operative in the Republican Party for over 25 years. Mr. Butler’s political mentors include the late Dr. Arthur Fletcher, "Father of Affirmative Action,” Dr. Harold Cruse, author of "The Crisis of the Negro Intellectual" and Dr. Charles Wright, founder of the Detroit African American Museum; along with Judge James Del Rio of Detroit, a civil rights activist.
