I felt the rant building. Like millions of Americans watching George Bush's final speech to the nation as president. As his lips moved and the complete and total disconnect with reality again showed its ugly head, I began to rage. He still doesn't get it, does he? He is responsible for the death's for 100,000+ Iraqis, 4000+ Americans, the collapse of the economy and 9/11 happened on his watch...
But as it started, calm took over. Yes, calm. Why?
He's gone. He's done. It's over. More and more people now see the little naked emperor. Yes, those of us who said this fool was naked eight years ago, four years ago, yes, we were right. And he stood bare, his stupidity laying him nude, his intellectual inability to think for himself so present and obvious I almost felt sorry for him, in that well, that convicted killer seemed nice until they found the bodies in the basement kind of way...
But it's over. So rant. Rave. Read every blog and feel the outrage. But we never have to hear this man again. He holds no baring over us, our country, or our world at all any more. The only time we will ever need to hear him again is hopefully answering charges in front of the world court or in our courts for his admitted war crimes.
Goodbye George W. Bush. We will not miss you.
Oh, and don't ever quote a true Patriot like Jefferson again, please, it makes you look even worse and upsets those of us that have great respect for our founders.
