Sarah Palin's wardrobe malfunction of sorts wasn't that big of a deal to me. I went out to talk about it for a video rant, and encountered homophobia in the name of a McCain / Palin supporter. Watch through the end, it's priceless.
What's so priceless is that McCain and Palin have, in fact, refocused the campaign from issues to bigotry and divisive issues. Their supporters have no where to go any more when it comes to issues so they immediately go to race, sexual orientation or things that divide instead of unite.
This video is proof.

All I can say .... Props to you.
And thanks.
WOW! How incredibly dismissive! So, when confronted with is own pretzel logic he resorts to, "Oh wait... are you gay?"
Thank you Karel for this video. I have been trying to tell people about the republicans all of my life. They are nothing but a bunch of racist, homophobic, Latino immmigrant hating A-holes. Karel is great y'all. I listen to him whenever he is on KGO radio 810 AM in the BayArea, CA. We are lucky to have him here.
Karel;
First of all, why haven't I ever seen you before? You're great! You should be on TV more. That couldn't have turned out any better than if you planned it and you smoothly segued into allowing that man to prove your point in a nutshell.
Secondly, the campaign with all their mud-slinging, this is nothing but fodder for Obama supporters who are fed up with the GOPs lies and slander. It wouldn't be a big deal if they hadn't tried to make him an "Arab".
This is eerily similar to an encounter I had with a white Ohio bigot at a bar who didnt know I was black until I spoke back to him and he heard my black voice. Then he screwed up his face as if he smelled something bad and said: "Oh, you're black!" and turned away from me. A month later, I met a white guy who is still my bf after 4 years ( :D ) and he actually KNEW that freak! You should have seen his face when he saw me with his buddy. LMFAO! Stammering and back-peddlling ensued. It was hilarious.
Maybe one day you will date that old bigot's grandson and show up at Thanksgiving dinner. Justice is never more poetic than that. :D
WOW. that was stunning.
completely true, and frightfully real.
When confronted with their own ignorance and stupidity these sociopaths have to deflect and project. The mindless drivel they gorge themselves on serves that purpose. These people will never go away, but if America is lucky we will all learn how to recognizethem, then hopefully they will be forever associated with what there small mindedness leads to.
Priceless! The point is made and that's what we have to worry about...what's in her head and underneath the clothes. And that is scary! Vote Obama/Biden
Thanks, very enlightening. The more we talk about this bigotry the better off we will be.
Excellent way of putting forth your argument and you are so right about the real problem being with her core values and the core values of her entire party. However, I have to disagree with you that the clothes thing needs to be out of the conversation. If her radical thoughts and core values weren't fracturing the Republican party beforehand, then they aren't going to now. If the overspending on clothes snaps some of these Republicans out of their kool-aid induced rapture and causes them to pull the lever for anyone else besides the McCain/Palin ticket, so be it! It may not be enough to swing them to Obama, but if it swings them against McCain, it will still help Obama!
And the clothes thing used up some valuable news cycle whereby we didn't have to hear her tongue lashings about Obama, so more Palin clothes and McCain make-up stories Puh-lease!
