Unemployment? They Need Workers!

California announced that unemployment in the state has reached 8.2% (can you say it will be 10% by next year?); and nationally the figure is about 6.7% according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics website.

Forget statistics, those numbers are people, and I'm one of them. Here are actual phone calls made over one week period to the Unemployment development department in California. They have to be heard to be believed.

And then, perhaps a solution? Perhaps a way to employ more people in this country?

Save your phone minutes.

As I understand employment law, you're not entitled to compensation because you were fired for cause, and not laid off.
