In his capacity as the International President of Service For Peace, Charles Phillips PhD has been leading the organization in the strategic development of service learning programs to foster social responsibility among diverse groups of volunteers as a catalyst for genuine peace.

Dr. Phillips has lectured extensively in more than 25 countries throughout the world including Russia and the former republicsw of the Soviet Union, China, Mongolia, Indonesia, the Philippines and India on the role of service in fostering a just and civil society and the role of advocacy in social reform. Charles has extensive experience in volunteer management and leadership in the US, Russia, Ukraine and China.

Service For Peace is active in over 22 countries around the world including geopolitical hot spots such as North Korea, Israel and the Palestinian territories, Nepal and Mindanao in the Philippines.
