Charlie Fink has been an executive and producer of entertainment and new media since 1985, creating and launching new brands for Disney, AOL, and American Greetings. Since leaving AOL in 1999, Charlie has started and sold two Internet-based start ups, eAgents (to American Greetings) and Internet affiliate marketer Charlie Company (sold in a private transaction). He is now the founder and producing artistic director of the not-for-profit New Musical Development Foundation. His most recent project, Who's Your Baghdaddy or How I Started the Iraq War, won Best Show in the 2011 DC Fringe Festival and is being developed for Broadway.

During the Presidential Campaign in 2008, Charlie created and produced the critically acclaimed animated cartoon musical, Oh, McCain, which was broadcast on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News, and the animated series The Two McCains, which was seen by over one million people, thanks to a unique marketing partnership with YouTube’s entertainment channel. In 2010, Charlie co-founded "The Other 98%" to counter to right wing tax policies. The Other 98 now has 400,000 followers on Facebook and is funded by Moveon.org. Charlie recently joined the board of progressive think tank The Agenda Project, whose mission is to promote progressive issues and ideas.

3 For D.C. in NYC

It's true, as I said in my last HuffPost Local Theater Blog (god that's way too many words!) that I was seeing all these shows in NYC in October (again, sorry D.C.!) I did see three fantastic musicals in NYC the other week that each has, coincidentally, a D.C. connection.
