I spoke the other day with Ambassador Nic Burns, the third highest-ranking official in the State Department. He was frank about US-Russian relations in the wake of the riots in Belgrade and regarding Iran. When I asked him about the Pakistani elections he said the US will work with any coalition government emerges. Here is a part of that conversation:
