Congressman Rahm Emanuel of Illinois is one of the
powerful voices in the Democratic party today. As the
Democratic Caucus Chair, he is the fourth-highest
ranking member in the House Democratic leadership.
He is also close to Senators Obama and Clinton but
has not made an endorsement. I spoke with him earlier
today about how he sees the Democratic presidential
contest and whether the party can pull together in the
general election against Senator John Mccain.
