I am a native Michigander that has lived in Las Vegas, NV for almost two years. I am currently a publicist for a lifestyle public relations firm in the Las Vegas Valley. Our clients range from beauty and fashion to furniture and dining. I have always had a passion for writing and politics. And was successful in effecting change when I put pen to paper, even at an early age. I began my love affair with politics in the sixth grade when I ran for and won the office of President. Later, when I was 21, and a senior at the University of Michigan, I ran for a vacant City Council seat. I was the youngest candidate vying for that seat. I later dropped out of the race because of my heavy course load. I earned both my BA and MA from the University of Michigan in Organizational Studies and Liberal Studies, respectively. I am an active member of my church, Canyon Ridge Christian Church, and I have recently begun volunteering for the Obama for America (Nevada Campaign for Change) office. This campaign has definitely invigorated me and it has ignited within me a sense of responsibility to ensure that the change I want becomes a reality.
