Where in the World Is Chip Collis?

As many of you know, OTB blogger Chip Collis was last sighted heading off to the wilds of Ohio as part of the Obama Organizing Fellow program in June. He promised to blog about his 6-week stint there, but we've heard nothing since. It turned out that Obama staffers are prohibited from blogging. We were hoping he'd be back by now to tell you his campaign tales, but he and the campaign had other plans.

Chip has been hired into the campaign for the duration, and his column will remain on hiatus until after the election. He is now the Field Organizer for Williams and Defiance Counties in northwestern Ohio. Anyone wanting to help him there can reach him through http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/ohhome.

We wish him luck and look forward to hearing about the Ground War, if only as a retrospective.
