Chris Prevatt is the Treasurer for the Harvey Milk Stonewall Democrats of Orange County and was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 2004 and 2008.

Chris is employed by the County of Orange Health Care Agency and is a Steward and Boardmember with the Orange County Employees Association.

Chris has been politically active in Orange County for years. He ran unsuccessfully for Garden Grove City Council in 2000 and 2002 and served for five years on the Garden Grove Sanitary District Advisory Commission. He has also served on the Democratic Party of Orange County Central Committee and as a delegate to th California Democratic Party.

Chris has been blogging for TheLiberalOC since May 2006 and assumed the duties as Publisher/ Senior Editor of TheLiberalOC.com in December 2007.
