Christian Nwachukwu, Jr. was born in Greensboro and reared in Manson, North Carolina. In 2004, he was graduated from Morehouse College, where he studied biology and edited The Maroon Tiger. Christian has worked at National Public Radio; Random House/ Bertelsmann; and the Freedom Writers Foundation; and he has studied in Bulgaria, Israel, Italy, Nigeria and Poland. He lives in New York City.
