I blogged last night about the White House posting the $787 billion stimulus plan online for public comment - with a 500 character limit.
Some White House folks sniffed that it wasn't too little space, but apparently someone agrees.
Tonight I checked the site and they now allow for 5,000 characters. That's 10 times the original space limit, and seems a lot more reasonable for a bill that's more than 1,000 pages.

Sorry folks, the 500 character Haiku contest I had planned to sponsor is now canceled.
