Christopher Kegan Smith is also known as Chris. At 17 years old, Chris lives in Long Beach. He is in the teen program at Peace4Kids, and is a team member in the poetry group. He just came back from New York City, where he participated in the National Urban Word/Youth Speaks Poetry Slam Competition. Chris’ dream for the future is to own his own day care center. His greatest accomplishment in life, thus far, was taking the Long Beach Boys and Girls club to a state championship for pool.
