On today's episode of Kitchy TV, I team up with Chef Pace Webb of Taste of Pace to mix some of her signature seasonal cocktails. Pink Grapefruit Habits with Peppercorn Melange, Cara Cara Orange Old Fashioneds Topped off with Cava, and a Saketini with Lime and Cucumbers! All of them deliciously refreshing and meant to pair with one of Pace's seasonal menus for her monthly underground supper club. Enjoy!

.

Pink Grapefruit Habits

1 jigger (1 1/2 oz) gin (we used Death's Door, a lovely gin from Wisconsin's Washington Island)

1 oz fresh pink grapefruit juice

1 teaspoon pomegranate reduction (pomegranate juice reduced until syrupy or grenadine is fine)

1 teaspoon simple syrup (no need to add if you're using grenadine)

1/2 teaspoon barely crushed peppercorns

Pour the pomegranate reduction and the simple syrup over one or two ice cubes in a tumbler. Add the gin, then juice, then top with pepper. Stir to combine and sip to enjoy!

Cara Cara Orange Old Fashioneds Topped with Cava

2oz Bourbon Whiskey

1 dash angostura bitters

1 teaspoon simple syrup

2oz Cava (or any other sparkling wine)

Slice of orange

Pour the bitters and syrup over one or two ice cubes in a tumbler. Add the bourbon and top off with Cava. Run the orange slice around the edge of the glass and leave for garnish. Enjoy!

Saketini with Cucumber and Lime

2 oz Dry Sake

1 oz lime juice (the juice of one lime)

5 or 6 cucumber slices

Mix the sake, lime juice, and cucumber slices in a cocktail shaker half filled with ice. Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice and a lime slice. Enjoy!
