When we first created this music video it was to sound a note of caution that the fix was in, and Karl Rove would call in his chit for fundraising for Lieberman's last reelection, sending the Senate back into Republican hands for the remainder of George Bush's term, where they can wreak untold havoc.

But now that the political tide has turned, it seems like there's no downside to Joe taking his Joe-mentum elsewhere! Our President elect might be briefly miffed on account of his overture not being heeded, but he'll get over it when Alaska's vote tally and the Minnesota recount are finished. We progressives will be overjoyed -- and we can rest assured that Lieberman running as a Republican in blue Connecticut in 4 years will be a non-starter. And John McCain and his Republican cohorts will welcome a kindred spirit with open arms!
