Colin J. Liotta is the co-founder of the website The Sports Hero along with his wife Bushra and acts as Editor-in-Chief. The website combines sports and comics into one place for fans of both genres. He is a 2007 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and spent his senior year writing for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Sports Department. Prior to his senior year in college, Colin did a journalism internship in South Africa working for the newspaper, The Worcester Standard. Several of his articles from The Sports Hero on The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers have been featured on the movie blog /Film, named by Time Magazine as one of the best blogs in the world in 2009. He is also a freelance writer for the Los Angeles Clippers, writing biweekly superhero bit features on the team and its players.
