Is Reuters going to put its reputation on the same level with News Corp and that "I don't have the facts to back this up" claim?

WTF, Reuters!!!???

Get off you lazy butt and research something yourself. Look at his past, his interviews, his books, his business dealings, and tell me how "great" he is. For once, do something yourself.

...and then there's the option of basic journalism, Reuter's: Report the indirect links, only say what you know as fact, and let the reader discern for him/her-self. Possibly finish up with comparisons on the other end of the partisan scale where such presumptions have been prematurely made; include some cases where 2 or 3 times-removed connections such as
"SOROS > ADBUSTERS/MOVEON.ORG > OCCUPY" have turned out to be direct and intentional, and example where they have not. The point of such a story should not be sensationalism. It should be an honest "study" focusing on the fact that sometimes these indirect links are MEANT to be stealthy to hide the connection -OR- sometimes the appearances are innocent and unintended. Sometimes there might be no immediate direct manipulation by the presumed fund-er/instigator but enough of a shared ideology with continued general funding and support that he would have just as soon have been even if it turns out he were not. Personally, I believe that is likely the case here. PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY.

"Report the indirect links, only say what you know as fact, and let the reader discern for him/her-self."
That presupposes Reuters believes the reader capable of discernment, or that Reuters considers it acceptable to allow the reader to think at all.

Of course Soros is involved. His investments have absolutely nothing to do with value and are based on profiting from other's pain. He takes advantage of fear and over jubilation of other investors. He admitted that this was the main part of his successful strategy many years ago. Wouldn't surprise me if he shorted the system, then backed the anarchy to bring it down.

Is Karl Rove working on planting little stories again that make it out into the world only to die among the many, and survive among the radical few?

"A fool can throw a stone in a pond that 100 wise men can not get out. " - Saul Bellow.

The story has legs now, true or not. Personally, I could give a rat. George has no connection to anything I support on the left and has never sent me a dime to protest, wrote me a note of support, or served me sandwiches at a sit in.

When I do an OWS protest, I'll do it on my dime, er Nickell, if I have any left when the GOP gets through trashing the joint.

Beyond that, I hope Karl and/or his minions haven't poisoned the well at Reuters for good.

If you want to label yourselves anti-capitalists, thats your problem, but it will be a problem if you are trying to get anywhere in the U.S.
11:33 PM on 10/14/2011
...can only hope that remains true. The way things are going "anti-capitalism" could be the LOUDEST (I didn't say majority) theme and play right into the hands of our globalist-puppett government. The masters say it is time to extract from the USA to fund there new toys (China, and the developing nations).
OCCUPY (AS A GROUP) seems to think they are revolting but are really doing master's bidding. If they want to revolt then demand true and free capitalism and refuse the extraction of wealth. They are partly right by targeting the banks but just causing "collapse" is uninformed, emotion-based, and EXTREMELY HARMFUL AND DANGEROUS to the well-being of the citizenry.
