All this continual ridicule of Israel for defending itself. Israel ceded Gaza in good faith for peace. It got anything but in return. All Jewish synagogues were desecrated and vandalized. The Jews had even taken their dead from cemeteries with them as they knew from past experience what would happen to those left behind. Former Jewish towns and villages were turned into Palestinian terrorist training camps and also used to launch thousands of missiles at Israeli towns and cities.

The populace of Gaza also showing their true face by the election of a terrorist entity sworn to destroy their Jewish neighbours and to replace Israel with an Islamic state of "Palestine". The massive influx of weapons into Gaza and the thousands of missile, mortar and other terrorist attacks from the terrorist ruled enclave resulted in Israel being forced to impose a blockade on Gaza as another means of protecting its own civilians against murder and terror.

Condemning Israel for defending its own people through imposing a blockade evades any responsibility on behalf of those who elected Hamas & who launched the attacks which led to the security measure.

Calling it "collective punishment" of the Gazan population just won't wear and absolves the Gazan Palestinians, including Hamas, of any responsibility for their actions.

To the contrary, it is the residents of Sderot who are "collectively punished" as they trusted the Palestinians to deliver on "land for peace" when Israel withdrew from Gaza, only to be rewarded with many thousands of Palestinian missile attacks upon its civilian poplation instead.

The media pander to the Hamas apologists and agenda by continually giving them the oxgygen of the media to continue their war against the Jewish state. Often reporting on issues like this at the expense of more serious issues, thus becoming complicit and a mouthpiece for Hamas itself.

Israel wasnt defending its own people! What are you talking about? Blocking food, medicine and necessary supply to help the Palestinian people is what you call "protecting Israelis"... God help you.

Hike into Iran accidentally and you're imprisoned for a few years. Attempt to break Israel's legal blockade and you're deported. Oh those unfeeling Israelis.

And I though that all those crazies and fanatics from N Korea or Iran or even Afghanistan are the treat. Apparently they all working for peace - even when they trying to get nukes.
Only Jews such warmongers - they have completely unreasonable expectations to live in peace in prosperity and raise their kids in country that can protect them. Shame shame on them :-)

Beside the loads of misinformation that many posters here spread about Israel, why is it that those "hero activists" choose to board flotillas sailing toward Gaza, knowing very well that they will be stopped and towed into an Israeli port before they ever reach their declared destination? Why all the attention on Israel when there are dozens of countries, especially in the Middle East in which the population suffers ten-fold more than the Palestinians in Gaza? Why we do not see even a dingy attempting to reach Syria? Yemen? Saudi Arabia? Iran? Bahrain? Where is all the humanitarian help to the poor people living in these despotic countries? The answer is very simple: Those "hero activists" are all cowards who know that they would never be treated humanely by the military or police of these despotic countries. If these "heroes" would sail to Syria, they would never be deported, as Israel does; they would disappear. Ditto with any other of these despotic countries. Thus, Israel is the only target where these "heroes" are being treated like human beings, although coward human beings.

Why should the activists stop trying to break Israel’s blockade?
Israel is strangling the Gazans and somebody needs to do something about it!
JERUSALEM, October 18, 2011 (WAFA) – A recent report published Tuesday by the Untied Nation Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) showed that 35% of Gaza’s farmland and 85% of its fishing waters are totally or partially inaccessible due to Israeli military measures.
The report said that the population of Gaza is 1.6 million, with over 50% under 18, and 38% of the population live in poverty.
OCHA showed that the average wage in the Gaza Strip declined by over 20% in the past six years, while 26% of the Gazan workforce, including 38% of youths, is unemployed, leading to 54% of Palestinians in Gaza are food insecure while over 75% are aid dependent.
The report showed that 50-80 million liters of partially treated sewage are dumped in the sea each day, while over 90% of the water from the Gaza aquifer is undrinkable.

“““The UN is concerned about the so-called Palestinian refugees. They dedicated a separate agency for them, and they are treated with a special privilege.

Meanwhile, my people, ethnically cleansed, murdered and enslaved, are relatively ignored. The UN refuses to tell the world the truth about the real causes of Sudan's conflicts. Who knows really what is happening in Darfur? It is not a "tribal conflict."

This is an excerpt from a speech given by Mr.Simon Deng a former South Sudani slave given at the "Durban watch conference" in New york, September 22 2011.”””

It's not a post it's a mirror. Everybody looks in the mirror every once in a while, it's time for you and the rest of your pack here to take a look. Your concern to "oppressed victims" is dedicated exclusively for the Palestinians. I think you and I know why.

“““““More excerpt from the speech of Mr. Simon Deng a former South Sudan slave to the Durban convention.

I have been to Israel five times visiting the Sudanese refugees. Let me tell you how they ended up there. These are Sudanese who fled Arab racism, hoping to find shelter in Egypt. They were wrong. When Egyptian security forces slaughtered 26 black refugees in Cairo who were protesting Egyptian racism, the Sudanese realized that the Arab racism is the same in Khartoum or Cairo. They needed shelter and they found it in Israel. Dodging the bullets of the Egyptian border patrols and walking for very long distances, the refugees' only hope was to reach Israel's side of the fence, where they knew they would be safe.

Black Muslims from Darfur chose Israel above all the other Arab-Muslim states of the area. Do you know what this means!? And the Arabs say Israel is racist!?

In Israel, black Sudanese, Christian and Muslim were welcomed and treated like human beings. Just go and ask them, like I have done. They told me that compared to the situation in Egypt, Israel is "heaven."”””””

When you deport them, don't forget to add the bill on the expenses they caused: the military operation, the deportation, the time at jail, the docking of the ship etc.

I would deport them to Gaza. Let them taste some Palestinian hospitality. I certainly wouldn't pay to ship them back to Canada or wherever else they came from. They should have to pay their own fares. The ship should be kept as compensation for the cost of intercepting the vessel and sold at auction.

"Harold: Why should the activists stop trying to break Israel’s blockade?

Pal, many countries face the choice of bread or guns. The Palestinians made their choice. Stop your non stop whining already. All they have to do is reverse their choice and life will change completely. It's a guaranty.
07:14 PM on 11/05/2011
As long as rockets are fired from Gaza on the civilians of southern Israel, the citizens of Gaza will suffer. Israel has targeted the terrorists and the general population has not suffered the Israeli retaliation. But that may not last. Many Palestinians lost their lives or where injured when Israel attacked and another attack cannot be ruled out if the rockets continue. Israel cannot help the citizens of Gaza when rockets are fired from this area. Hamas will fight Israel to the last Palestinian if necessary. If you want to complain about the plight of the Palestinians, complain to Hamas who have the power to makes things better. Just don't ask Israel for they have to spend their time in the defense of their own citizens and can't worry about Gaza.
