Neil Young memories - Sugar Mountain in Katmandu - Heart of Gold, driving country roads heartbroken - Southern Man, tripping - and on & on. When he was last in Australia I heard him recommend babyboomers come see him at Big Day Out ( or something like it)... with zillions of teenagers in the scorching sun? get real, Neil!

What fun to listen to some of the best from Neil. It is interesting that even though I do not agree with his politics, I certainly am drawn to him and many others with the same message. He is amazing.

The first time I took notice was "Mr. Soul." That would have to be on my list.

He's a rare one, Neil Young.
He's never gotten any better. He's been great from the very beginning and has remained
that way.

A truly GREAT songwriter. From an era of songwriters with a conscience, he was easily one of the best. Happy Birthday, stay young.

I'm old enough to remember Neil with Buffalo Springfield, and to have bought the vinyl for $3.99. I know we all have our favorite Neil songs, and that to include them all into a top 10 is fruitless. Now, with that being said... I went looking for a spot to weigh in on my favorite (not listed), but I could not. Therefore: "Cinnamon Girl".

I've loved this man since I was 9 years old & he was in Buffalo Springfield. I have to wonder how you arrived at those top 10? Where's Powderfinger from Rust Never Sleeps? Where's After the Goldrush? Cinnamon Girl, Expecting to Fly, Broken Arrow? Too many to count.

Happy Birthday, Neil Young, I love you SO much!!!!!!!! Please don't ever die!

One of the most prolific song writers. All those in music industry know and appreciate him. He is one of my favorites. Love his body of work.

Happy B Day Mr Young. My personal favorite is After the Gold Rush. I can listen to that song all day- just wanted to let you know that.

I grew up in Toronto when Neil was singing in the coffee houses. His father, Scott Young, was a great sports writer and made loving fun of his son in his columns all the time.

His hippy son, that is.
