Are we "coming together" as a country? No, we woke up at long last and realized we need to get the hell out. But remember, it's the Iraqis who said get out, if they had not the Military Industrial Complex would have kept this profit center going for another ten years.

Congressional Republicans will point to this as a mandate to kill all jobs and get Obama out of the White House. With enough Koch funds the public can be educated to see the light, as well.

Three in four Americans have been opposed to the Iraq quagmire since March 2003. Finally it's gotten to be too much for the politicians. The pols are only 8 1/2 years behind the rest of America. LOL :-).

Get out of Iraq.
Get out of Afghanistan.
Get out of Pakistan.

Cut the MIC budget in1/2 and rebuild the USA and the American people.

Now why is that so freaking hard for the U.S. government to get?

(Because they're owned by the MIC and Wall Street war profiteers?) ☮

The people have not been vocal enough...I still can't believe they elected GW. Especially the second time. It's a mess to untangle, so many years of corruption.

However, I think that public opinion has come around on the right and with independents, partly because the right was yelling about President Obama being a war president (when GW was, that was good in their minds) and now public opinion has swung so all sides want to get out. Hopefully, war won't be so easy to wage in the future.

This President plays chess....the republican congress are against cutting defense and against raising taxes. They will have to-or lose support. A large majority of the people are vocal about both. The right overplayed their hand.

"Beyond Left And Right: Majority Of Democrats And Republicans Support Iraq Troop Withdrawal"

Problem is......the majority no longer rule this country, the rich and powerful do.

As long as there is a profit to be made, we will continue in these hopeless endeavors.

I think the T Bag movement is hollowing out somewhat as the members discover what they really signed on for.
