I admire this woman so very much. She went through some bad times, and she's on her way back. However, I think it would be best if she gave up her seat. Arizona is not getting their proper representation since she is gone. If she gets better, she can run again. More than likely, she will have deficits for the rest of her life.

That is same thing I was thinking. Could Mark serve now and maybe run for her seat. Lurleen Wallace did the same for her husband years ago.

While this is awesome, she does not seem quite ready to take her place back in Washington, DC. She seems to have suffered significant cognitive damage. I'm not sue if she will eve be able to go back and work at the same level.

We do not know what her cognitive level is because of her aphasia. She may be OK cognitively but cannot express it. It would be hard to function effectively in Washington with this disability.

No, there's no certainty that she'll be able to function at the same level; yet going back and trying is the best form of therapy she could have at this point. This will be quite a challange yet she deserves a chance to show her capability. It's amazing what someone can do when given the chance.

She still would probably make better decisions in the state she is in now than allot of her colleagues!
