It nice to see that greed and delusion are still ruling the lives of many Americans!

So well said. Greed is the reason the whole country is in the toilet right now, but Americans love hastening their own destruction. Our family boycotts Black Friday deliberately. The real deals come along as retailers begin to panic in two weeks.

That's a value judgment. Not everyone sees it that way.

I had to do a little shopping today. Got a 250 foot roll of drywall tape for $1.55. Pretty good deal.

I'm pretty sure it's the same price all the time, but I needed it today and it seems like a fair price. Now I just got to finish taping. Darn holidays.

Saw a deal on a Sig 522 but didn't "pull the trigger". Debating the Sig vs. the S&W, M&P 15-22.

What a fool I've been all these years. I always thought Christmas was about a kid born in a shed. Now I've found out it was so Wal-mary can have a banner year.

That was not supposed to be a kid. That was the second person of the Holy Trinity. Please have some respect for these quaint old Christian myths.

Quaint they are, and just as soon as those quaint old myths can find it in their rules to allow my living by my quaint old religious ways( does it count that the way I live, my religion, is older and not brought accross the big pond like their's) I think we might build a country we both can live in. To bad their rules say I must be changed( believe in their religion) before I'm considered decent enough to live next to. Still trying to figure out how you can float accross some big pond for 4-7 months then say when you arrive at someones backdoor that they are bad neighbors just cause we can't figure out which peice of ground is holy, so we can build our people gathering structures there and which are for just living on( not holy), whereas I happen to believe it's all holy. Oh well, I guess the sun will come up tomorrow no matter if we can live with radicals or not. Happy birth of the baby anyway.

i lose faith in my fellow citizens whenever i see the black friday mobs, but thank them for the tax revenue pouring into starved government coffers. I suppose I am a bit conflicted. Shopping cows do have their benefits.
