The Porn industry always had a strong libertarian streak. They dont want government telling them to wear condoms or not to crush small animals underfoot.

Why does only 20% go to his campaign? You'd think (well, I'd think) that if they were REALLY doing this to help him, they'd give him 80% of the profits.

As for "helping to spread Paul's message" by "catching their eye with beauty," all I'll say on that subject is, eye of the beholder.

"Why does only 20% go to his campaign?"

LOL!!! Because they're libertarians. Making a buck off of riding someone else's coat tails/exploiting something for profit, is what they're all about.

And most RP backers are nerdy int types. This calender should just be call "Nerd Fap" for Ron Paul.

Ron paul transcends party lines in beliefs, although he has been "forced" to run as a Republican for the most part he takes a combination of the common sense beliefs from each party
02:52 PM on 11/29/2011
I think this is more a matter of someone thinking there are enough of those "Ron Paul 2012" people out there to make a few $ off.
02:52 PM on 11/29/2011
This is, quite possibly, the funniest thing I've ever heard. I'm fine if women want to represent themselves as a "bevy of beauties" supporting Paul. I just think its hilarious. While I know that some GOP/TP voters have shown they can be easily swayed by all sorts of nonsense, this seems particularly unlikely to work. I don't imagine the evangelicals who are jumping off the Cain Train jumping aboard the Paul Party Bus.

Not to mention, these are the most awkwardly posed photos I've seen. The rejects from America's Next Top Model could do better. Nice to see "regular" people taking initiative to get involved in politics, though, I guess.

I've been a little put out by the GOP choices this year...but I really like Ron Paul! I think if he can get past the die hard conservatives he could be a formidable candidate this election!

Calender sells for $24.95 and only 20 percent, or $5.00 goes to Pauls campaign? The remaining $20.00 goes where? If they really wanted to get him elected, maybe they should contribute the entire $24.95.
03:31 PM on 11/29/2011
Yeah that's the libertarian way? Contribute all the money to RP. Too hilarious to hear paulbots cry about this.

Attaching profit motive to EVERYTHING is the libertarian way. Also having no empathy or compassion.

Paul is polling second and within statistical significance of 1st in Iowa, as well as 2-3 in new hampshire and south carolina. However if/when he is not to get the nomination we will write him in. Obama is my second choice, because the rest of the field lack any competence or honesty.
I am very interested in seeing if Pauls posible third party will influence the GOP positively or negatively. Pauls support is very dynamic that covers the entire spectrum, split into essentially 5 groups: disgruntled Dems/Ind that will vote for him no matter what, disgruntled Dem/Ind that will vote obama if he doesnt get the nomination, Right wing die hard supporters that will vote for him no matter, and GOP that will vote for the other GOP candidate that if Paul doesnt get it and supporters who won't vote for him because he "can't win/ isnt electable)
Honestly deep down I know he is a long shot, especially if he doesnt get the nomination, but I think/hope my vote for liberty will be part of a bigger movement, and at the very least will be backside vote for President Obama over the rest of the field

Pity the poor Ron Paul supporters.... they are the only thing out on the political landscape more pitiful than Paul himself. Averse to facts, deniers of reality, they live in a fantasy world of every man is an island and every home a castle.... if I actually believed their willful ignorance could be cured I'd start a charity.

Regardless if you don't believe in all of his positions, I have found it impossible to find a better candidate that is running. Obama is my back up choice (not getting my vote), but he has gone against many campaign promises. He didn't start withdrawing troops until he was forced to because he could not come to an agreement with Iraq, he has cracked down on medical marijuana when he said he wouldnt, he continued the bush tax cuts as well as many other bush era tactics(that had failed). I will give him credit for his many accomplishments such as the repeal of DADT, and take into consideration that he had the GOP c__k blocking him most of the way, but at the beginning of his presidency he had a "super majority" he did not use to his advantage.
So my question to you, which I think I already know is who will you be voting for and why?

Obama maintained and upheld the SOFA signed by Bush for troop draw downs... the tax cuts were held hostgae by teh GOP...medical marijuana... the DoJ is upholding Federal law as it is required to do... I'll be voting for Obama.. the GOP is the enemy of a free nation.
